fedt, at I var så vilde med the girl with the dragon tattoo kollektionen HER. som sagt bliver den solgt fra d. 14 14 december kl. 10.00 i kun 3 butikker i danmark – nemlig amagertorv og gallery k i københavn, og så i butikken på lille torv i århus. desuden vil den også kunne købes online – også fra kl. 10.00! jeg har fået den her lille video – som viser lidt om stylingen og photoshootet for kollektionen.

i forbindelse med lanceringen fik jeg mulighed for at stille chef designeren fra h&m divided – anna norling lidt spørgsmål omkring kollektionen – og det kan I læse nedenfor – jeg spurgte bl.a. om hvordan samarbejdet kom i stand, hvad hendes yndlings items var m.m.. desuden har jeg fået mulighed for at invitere 10 af jer til pre-shopping af kollektionen… hvordan I kan komme med til det – kan I se på min facebook side lige HER

TRANSLATION: in the occasion of the launch of h&m’s “the girl with the dragon tatto” collection I got to ask divided’s creative director, anna norling a few questions about the collection. you can read the interview below:) the collection will be launched december 14th 10.00 (danish time).

ME: The girl with the dragon tattoo” is originally based on Swedish Stieg Larsen’s books and you I, H&M is also Swedish – was that why you decided to dedicate this collection to the movies and especially the main character Lisbeth Salander?
ANNA: When Sony contacted us with the idea of a capsule collection inspired of the movie, we felt it was a great idea that suited Divided really good. The book that the film is based on is Swedish and H&M is Swedish but I believe that we managed to make the collection very global, for all our customers!

ME: How did you manage to get this cooperation with Trish Summerville?
ANNA:Sony contacted us with the idea of a capsule collection inspired of the movie, together with Trish Summerville.

ME:Were there any challenges with the fact that Trish Summerville is a costume designer and don’t usually design high street clothes.
I believe that was the success of the cooperation! Trish added her long experience in films/ costume designing and styling, we/H&M added our long experience in fashion. The collection wouldn’t have been what it is without the mix of the two – True to the film, but also true to fashion!

ME: Lisbeth Salander’s style is very dark, weren’t you afraid that it would scare your core customers away by launching such a dark collection?
ANNA:The collection has a lot of attitude, and is very modern in its look, the garments are inspired from the film and the character but is done from a fashion standpoint.

ME: Is there according to you a common features between the typically Divided girl and Lisbeth Salander?
ANNA:Yes, the Divided girls and the Dragon Tattoo collections have the attitude in common, the attitude and the energy and it’s a youthful look even if the customer can be any age.

ME: Which items from the collection are you favorites and why?
ANNA: My favorite pieces are the key pieces of the collection i.e. the motorcycle inspired leather jacket and pants. They are so original in its inspiration yet so contemporary and flattering on the body. The worn down boot and the flag tee are both very hands on and has a lot of attitude. Also I love the hooded styles because of the sense of covering up and hiding, specially this time of the year!
